The PDC681 dual-mode rugged radio combines a mission-critical DMR radio with an Android-based smartphone in a single device, harnessing narrowband and broadband technologies to provide mission-critical voice call, photo and video capture, positioning, and more.
It enables seamless communication between the DMR network and public networks such as 2G, 3G, LTE, and WLAN, and can automatically switch between DMR and LTE networks. By registering with both networks using the same ID, it always selects the optimal network to deliver smooth and reliable voice communication everywhere, indoors or out.
As a professional rugged radio, the PDC681 is engineered for effortless usability. The ergonomic design of the smart knob and keys, together with the modular design of the user interfaces, makes it easy to accomplish tasks with one hand.
Key features include an all-in-one device design, dual screens, IP68 rating, smart knob, loud and clear audio, AI-based noise cancellation, and remote control.
The device provides fast and accurate positioning to track people or devices indoors and outdoors. GPS, Galileo, GLONASS, QZSS, BDS, and A-GPS are used for outdoor positioning, while location-based service (LBS) and WLAN are adopted for indoor positioning.
Thanks to dual HD cameras, the PDC681 allows on-site pictures and videos to be captured and sent to another radio or command center in real time to dramatically improve situational awareness. It also supports an external camera.
